Her brother attempted to kill his family so now she’s starting a mental health foundation

In today’s #NewsYouCanUse, Brandon hears about an incident that occurred on February 6, 2021, in East Gwillimbury, ON where a man who suffered from mental illness and attempted to kill his family including his two children, wife and sister. The result of the tragic incident left the man dead – killed by police. His surviving sister is now speaking out and starting a mental health foundation to try and end the stigma surrounding mental health, especially in the Caribbean community.
