While Blue Jays fans in Seattle are seeing tonight’s game for a bargain, fans in Toronto are facing exorbitant prices from scalpers and season ticket holders for Game 6 seats.

The Blue Jays have turned back the clock and tied up the ALCS series with their Game 4 win against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park on Thursday.

Fans early in the queue said rows of seats were immediately bought and sold for at least double of the price of face value, with some base-level tickets on sale for almost $10,000 a pair.

Though Game 7  has yet to be confirmed, resellers on Ticketmaster have already listed tickets starting at $400.

One fan told Now Toronto  he’s optimistic about tonight’s game, but is not sure he wants to shell out $1,000 to see the Jays in action.

“Maybe, that’d be nice. I mean, it’s a wish, it’s a wish. Prices are pretty crazy, right? I think so. I haven’t checked… If it’s a World Series Game, yes.”

Meanwhile, Theodore W., another Jays fan, says he’s excited to watch the game at a local bar.

“I feel happy. Honestly, I can’t lie, when they were two down in Toronto, I thought they were cooked, but to see them succeed so well…especially the scoreline…. I’m excited for tonight. I’m gonna be at a bar. I’m gonna be watching it with all my friends. I’m expecting 6-1 Jays.

But as excited as he is, Theodore says he will not be attending any post-season games at the Rogers Centre.

“Oh, hell no, I don’t have money. No,” he said.

Tickets for Game 6 and a tentative Game 7 are available here. Tonight’s game is set to start at 6:08 p.m. ET.
