Cardi B is officially going to be a mother of 4! The rapper confirmed her pregnancy with Stephon Diggs Wednesday morning in an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings.
Gayle asked the 32-year-old if the rumours are true, if she is having a baby. To which the star simply responded, “well, yes.”
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stephon Diggs,” the singer stated.
“I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” she added.
Cardi has three children with ex-husband rapper Offset: Kulture (7) , Wave (4) and Blossom (1).
While fans weren’t shocked by the announcement as speculation had begun months prior, they still have a few things to say about it.
On Instagram, one user reacted to the news saying, “we knew, soon as she wear them school girl outfits we know she pregnant 😂”.
Meanwhile on X, another user posted “Cardi & Riri single handedly solving declining birth rate in America 😭🤣”.
Following the interview, Cardi B made her pregnancy official on social media with her newest DoorDash ad. She subtly mentions a fourth child in her caption, “I got 4 kids now so I had to pick up a job at @DoorDash,” continuing her album rollout theme of the struggling NYC hip-hop artist trying to make ends meet.
On TikTok, one user asked, “Who is the father of the 4th kid,” and the official DoorDash account jokingly replied with “me”.
Vogue also congratulated the rapper on her pregnancy.
Despite her tour dates coming up in the near future, Cardi B assures fans she’ll be more than ready to perform with her album dropping on Friday.
