A third Toronto date has been added to Vybz Kartel’s tour in Toronto, following high demand for the World Boss’ first show in the city.
In an overnight Instagram story, Drake confirmed that the dancehall star is adding a third show. He also stated the shows are not part of OVO Fest, but that the 6ix God might just make an appearance on stage.
“Kartel coming to Toronto isn’t OVO Fest it’s his tour and a moment I am so proud to be a part of and enjoy with the city. Champagne Bday Celebrations with the Worl Boss and The Boy. Of course I might have to step and buss some shells pan stage. 3rd show just added,” Drake posted on his Instagram story.
The announcement follows a frenzy of ticket sales for the first two shows—set for Oct. 26 and 27—which sold out almost instantly after OVO Presents unveiled the collaboration last Friday, and opened up the presale on Sept. 30.
With resale prices shooting into the thousands, fans were quick to call for more dates. The confirmation of an Oct. 30 show gives Torontonians another chance to witness what’s shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest cultural events.
Tickets for all three can be found here.
