TORONTO — Brandon sat down with Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau to discuss the 2021 election and his party’s promises in this campaign. Trudeau said the party has plans to tackle several issues affecting people in Toronto, including student debt and housing affordability.
“There’s lots of different things we’re doing, because it’s a multilayer problem, but we are addressing this housing crisis,” he told Brandon.
“There are already things that we’ve been working on that we put forward in the budget for 2021,” Trudeau added.
They also spoke about the pandemic and vaccinations in Canada. Last time Justin Trudeau made an appearance on the show in May, he said that Canada would not be mandating vaccinations. But things have changed a bit since then.
“We will never force anyone to get vaccinated, that’s not the Canadian way,” Trudeau told Brandon.
“However if people make the choice not to get vaccinated, there will be privileges they won’t be allowed,” he explained.
