#NEWSYOUCANUSE: On Mother’s Day of 2020 Chantelle Krupka was shot by Peel police officer Valerie Briffa outside of Krupka’s home in Mississauga, Ontario after her ex called the police on her following a disagreement. The shooting left Krupka using a cane to walk. Valerie Briffa faced multiple charges and plead guilty to the charge of careless use of a firearm and received a conditional discharge and an 18-month probation.
