Earlier this week, The BG Show shared a viral story about a group of girls whose night out took a shocking turn after one friend was allegedly asked to pay a “$300 plus-size fee” to enter a Miami club. While the group ultimately chose not to pay the fee and sent their friend home in an Uber, the internet quickly erupted with strong opinions — and now, the woman at the centre of the controversy is speaking out.

In the original clip, the woman explained the moment she realized she was being singled out.

“I have to pay to get in, because I’m plus size.”

According to her, everyone else in the group was allowed entry — except her. The situation left her feeling confused, angry, and targeted.

“All of them can get in, except for me. So at that point, I basically felt targeted, and I’m mad, I’m confused.”

When The BG Show first posted the story earlier this week, viewers didn’t hold back. Many questioned why no one in the group was willing to pay the $300 fee or leave together, especially after assuming it would be an expense-free night.

“We all thought we were gonna have an expense-free night, so no one wanted to pay for the $300 entry fee.”

As comments flooded in, the debate intensified — with some criticizing the club’s alleged policy, and others focusing on the group’s response.

Now, the woman who was sent home is sharing how deeply the experience affected her, revealing that the emotional impact went far beyond being denied entry.

“Not only was I embarrassed by the club, I lost people — girls who I thought were genuine friends — and this was a traumatizing experience.”

She also recalled the moment one of her friends suggested she Uber home, marking what she says was the end of their friendship.

“My former friend says, ‘Can we Uber you home?’ And I tell her, ‘I’ll get into the Uber, but once I get into Uber, me and you — we not cool anymore.’”

The incident has since sparked widespread conversation online, with reaction videos pouring in from all sides. Many viewers say the situation highlights deeper issues around body shaming, loyalty, and what it truly means to show up for your friends.

Reflecting on the fallout, the woman offered a final takeaway:

“When they say be careful — Miami will show you who your true friends are.”

Now, BG Squad is weighing in. Was the group wrong for not standing together? Was the club out of line? And what would you have done in this situation?

Sound off in the comments.
