People are reacting online to North West’s recent performance in the Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl, and some think she didn’t deserve to get the role.
Last week, 10-year-old North West made her Hollywood debut starring as young Simba in the live-to-film concert event.
Her mother, Kim Kardashian, was seen behind the scenes supporting her daughter.
Meanwhile, her father, Kanye West, was captured in a photo supporting North from the audience.
Kardashian also posted a series of pictures of her Simba outfit on Instagram.
The voice behind the original 1994 animated film Jason Weaver also shared support to North in an Instagram post.
“What an honor it is to share the same stage with this young superstar in the making,” he said.
“I’m so PROUD you, North!! You’re doing a such PHENOMENAL job in this show,” he added.
People online praised the young star after her performance.
Meanwhile, others shared a different reaction and believe nepotism played a key factor in her securing the role.
Another special guest at the concert was Jennifer Hudson who performed “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.”
At the end of the concert, all the stars received a standing ovation.
