Hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing serious federal charges related to an alleged pattern of sexual coercion and abuse spanning over a decade.

Prosecutors claim that Combs orchestrated elaborate sexual performances, known as “freak offs,” involving women and male sex workers. These acts, detailed in a newly unsealed federal indictment, were allegedly recorded by Combs for his own gratification.

The indictment accuses Combs of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The case also details allegations that Combs used his influence and power to coerce multiple women into participating in these sex acts, which prosecutors describe as highly orchestrated and abusive.

U.S. Attorney Damian Williams, who is prosecuting the case, revealed shocking details during a press conference on Tuesday, noting that Combs allegedly had control over these so-called “freak offs” and would often record the encounters.

The charges against Combs, who pleaded not guilty in court, trace back to incidents beginning in 2008. The indictment claims that Combs used threats, intimidation, and even narcotics to ensure participation in these sexual performances. Prosecutors also allege that Combs manipulated women by controlling their careers and financial support, making them feel trapped and powerless.

The federal charges come amid several lawsuits against Combs, including multiple women who have also come forward with claims of physical and sexual abuse. One of the most high-profile cases involve singer Cassie, Combs’ former girlfriend, who accused him of rape and abuse during their decade-long relationship. Most recently, former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard filed a lawsuit against Combs for sexual assault.

Federal agents reportedly seized over 1,000 bottles of personal lubricant and baby oil from Combs’ property, which prosecutors claim were used during these “freak offs.”

In his defence, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo vowed to “fight like hell” to clear his client’s name, maintaining that Combs will plead not guilty.

Furthermore, Combs was denied bail and taken into federal custody.
