#NewYouCanUse: When Sisters Speak is an annual poetry concert that has been gracing the stage in Toronto for over 20 years. Founded by Toronto talent Dwayne Morgan, the event brings Black women to the center of the conversation to share their lived, and often unique, experiences. Producer Dev sat down with Dwayne, and veteran spoken-word artist & Toronto sweetheart Jem, to talk about how this concert is empowering Black women to own their stories. Leave these legendary sisters some love in the comments!
