On Sunday, it was a star-studded event at the 2024 Super Bowl when the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers.
Usher headline performance
After 30 years in the business, Usher headlined for the first time. He brought out musical guests to join the stage with him, such as Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Ludacris, Lil Jon and Will.i.am.
Prior to the “Yeah” singer’s performance, there was an advisory on people’s TV screens that said, “Rated U” and “May cause: singing, dancing, sweating, gyrating, possible relationship issues.”
Alicia Keys and Usher performed “My Boo” and the internet stirred up drama about how Alicia’s husband Swizz Beats may feel.
The drama stemmed from the two singing close to each other and Usher putting his hands on her.
However, her husband clapped back on Instagram to clear the air.
He phrased their performance and said there’s no negative vibes on their side.
Beyoncé breaks the internet
Beyoncé made headlines because of her Super Bowl commercial with Verizon.
She broke the internet by dropping two new songs, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” Queen Bey also announced that “Act ii” of her 2022 Renaissance album will drop on March 29.
The surprise drop has people saying the singer is in her “country era.”
Swifties came to play
Finally, Taylor Swift celebrated her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl win.
She attended the game with her bestie Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice.
However, some people online are confused about the pop star and rapper’s friendship.
Taylor Swift celebrated her boyfriend’s win on the field with plenty of smooches.
This marks the third time Kansas City Chiefs take a Super Bowl victory within five years.
