Official Contest Rules (“Contest Rules”)
The Back to School Giveaway (“Contest”) is sponsored by The Brandon Gonez Show.
(“Sponsor”) and administered by Gonez Media Inc (“GMI”). All inquires should be directed to
GMI.
Commencing August 31, 2022 at approximately 2:00 pm (EST) and ending September 02, 2022
5:00 pm (EST) (the “Contest Period”).
The odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received.
At the end of the Contest Period, all valid entries that have been received will be entered into a
random draw to win one of two Apple iPads (the “Prize”). Any winner of a Prize shall be
hereinafter referred to as a “Prizewinner”.
Where GMI selects an entrant to win one of two Prizes, and GMI cannot contact that entrant or
the entrant’s parent/guardian by phone within 48 hours of selection or the entrant does not
otherwise comply with the Contest Rules and Regulations, the entrant shall be deemed to have
forfeited the Grand Prize and GMI shall select an alternate entry.
If a Prizewinner’s name has already been drawn once, any subsequent selection of that
Prizewinner shall be deemed void.

To qualify, all entries must be received on or before 5:00 pm (EST) on September 2, 2022.
CONTEST CLOSING: The Contest closes at 5:00 pm (EST) on September 2, 2022.
Eligibility:
The Contest is open to students (i.e. persons registered at educational institution) aged 16 and
older or parents/guardians of students who are residents of Ontario, except employees,
volunteers, representatives or agents of GMI, its prizing partners and their immediate family
members. For clarity, Prizewinner’s will be required to provide proof of current (i.e. as of the
2022/2023 school year) enrollment at a registered and or accredited elementary, high school or
college/university.
Each Prizewinner must sign a declaration of compliance with the contest rules and regulations
and a release (as provided), in order to receive the Prize.
In order to facilitate Prize distribution to each Prizewinner, GMI may share personal information
(i.e. parent/guardian’s name and mailing address) to a third-party production company. The personal information obtained and shared by GMI will be used solely for the purposes of
conducting the Contest. GMI requires all third parties with which it shares confidential informationto adhere to and comply with our privacy policy and confidentially restrictions.
A maximum of six (6) entries per entrant per Contest are allowed. If it is discovered in the
ordinary course of running the Contest that an entrant has attempted to enter more than the
allowed maximum, GMI may disqualify that entrant from this and any future contest.
The Contest is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
Prizes:
There are two Prizes to be won by way of a random draw. The Grand Prize consists of one Apple iPad. The Total approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $600.00CAD.
Prizes will be mailed directly to Prizewinner’s mailing address. Prizes are not transferable or
convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded. Any changes, cancellations and/or
adjustments, and any associated costs are the sole responsibility of the Prizewinner(s). GMI
reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if for any
reason a prize or portion of a prize cannot be awarded as described.

GMI will perform the random draw on or about the following day and time:
September 02, 2022 5:00 pm (EST)
General Conditions:
By participating in the Contest, all entrants agree that the entrant’s first name, photograph, voice
and/or image may be used in any and all forms of media, without any further compensation from
GMI (or any of their agents, assigns, subsidiaries or prizing partners). All entrants waive all rights (including moral rights) with respect to their Contest entry and to printed, broadcast, online and other forms of publicity.
GMI is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry or registration or entry information or any
factor which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Contest, including but not limited to human error, lost or misdirected entries for whatever reason, technical malfunctions,
lost/delayed/corrupted data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of
any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, any inability to access the site, or damage to a user's system occasioned by participating in the Contest, and entries which fail to fully comply with these Contest Rules and Regulations.
GMI is not responsible for a Prizewinner’s inability to use or enjoy any portion of the Prize
awarded in the Contest, nor will GMI be in any way liable for the Prizewinner’s use of the Prize.
The following conditions must be met before an entrant selected to win a Prize is declared a
Prizewinner: The selected entrant will have to successfully complete a skill testing question; and
The selected entrants must sign a release and waiver (as provided): 1) releasing GMI
from all claims that may arise in connection with the Contest or the prize(s); and 2)
agreeing to the use of the Prizewinner’s and the Prizewinner’s first name (only), address
(city only) and photograph, without payment, in any subsequent publicity or advertising,
for news or information purposes, carried out by GMI.
All entries together with submissions for the Contest become property of GMI upon receipt and
GMI may use the submissions in any and all forms of media without any further compensation
from GMI (or any of their agents, assigns, or subsidiaries or prizing partners).
GMI may amend these Contest Rules and Regulations at any time without notifying the entrants.
