‘It’s a bloody mayhem,’ The countdown to Christmas has people in a panic

Five days left until Christmas has people scrambling to buy last minute gifts and worried about their holiday expenses. 

Also, the stress of holiday shoppers finding a good deal without breaking the bank doesn’t seem to help either. 

People on X have been reacting to the final countdown leading up to Christmas.

A mother, who’s username is @themrsmayofficial, posted a video on TikTok expressing the panic she felt trying to find last minute gifts for her kids.

She also said finding gifts for boys is harder because all they want is money and she doesn’t want to give them just that.

“They all buy their own clothes, so I don’t really wanna buy clothes. Also, the clothes are quite expensive that they buy, so that’s up to them if they want to spend that amount of money for clothes. I prefer not to. So, I just want something that they really want and they don’t really want anything.”

“So, I had a bit of a panic. Anyway, I got some knick knacks and things and yeah I think we’ll be alright. Anyway, It’s the lead up to Christmas, it’s a bloody mayhem, lead up to Christmas,” she added.
