Actor Kevin Spacey told U.K. broadcaster Piers Morgan that his Baltimore house is up for foreclosure amid legal fees.
On Tuesday, Spacey appeared on Piers Morgan’s show and broke down in tears when he shared that his house is being sold at an auction.
In July 2023, the 64-year-old was acquitted on sexual assault allegations in aLondon court, following charges laid by four men for incidents that occurred between early 2000s and mid 2010s.
During his interview with Morgan, he spoke about the hardships he’s had to go through since the trial and admitted he’s lost his home.
“It’s funny you ask that question because this week, where I have been living in Baltimore is being foreclosed on. My house is being sold at auction, so I have to go back to Baltimore and put my things in storage,” he said to Morgan.
“I can’t pay the bills that I owe,” he added.
Morgan also asked the actor if he has any money and how much he’s in debt, Spacey replied, “many millions.”
He continued by explaining legal bills have played a major factor for his financial situation.
However, he remains optimistic of his future and said his next step is to “get back on the horse.”
