Some Apple users are concerned about partners potentially cheating with new lock and hide app feature in iOS 18

iPhone users are excited for iOS 18’s new and innovative features that will allow users to customize more on their home screen.

On Monday, the company announced an upcoming update to its software at Apple Park in California.

Since the announcement, many people posted clips from The Worldwide Developers Conference online and it has the internet talking!

A user shared a video of iOS 18’s new calculator feature that will help people solve math questions and answer in a user’s own handwriting too.

Meanwhile, others are excited about the new “Genmoji,” which allows users to customize their own emoji.

Others can’t wait to try out this new feature which allows users to schedule text messages in advance.

However, some people online are expressing  concerns about its new lock and hidden apps feature.

According to Apple’s website it says, “Two new ways to protect sensitive apps and the information inside them when others are using your device.”

Users that want to unlock an app will be required to use their Face ID, Touch ID  or passcode to gain access. 

Some users online are reacting to the lock and hidden apps feature and believe it may make cheating on partners easier.

Apple also states that information from the app won’t appear in their notifications, search or Siri suggestions.
