Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Corporations have dropped Jonathan Majors as the lead role for The Kang Dynasty, after a New York courtroom convicted him of assault and harassment convictions.
The 34-year-old “Creed” star and Emmy-nominated actor will not move forward with Marvel Studios.
Majors starred as Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Disney+ series Loki. He was also set to star as the lead role for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty that was set to release in 2026.
The actor was found guilty by a jury in New York for one count of assault charge and one harassment violation that stemmed from his March confrontation with his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, according to the Associated Press.
The Emmy-nominated winner was projected to be Hollywood’s next rising star because of big roles with the studio.
People are reacting on X and some are even calling to boycott Marvel.
