Toronto stages are set to host major artists this week, sparking anticipation for memorable summer nights with live performances from J Cole, Karol G, Akon, Ne-Yo and Tyla.
J Cole: The Fall-Off Tour
Kicking off the excitement is J Cole, performing at Scotiabank Arena on July 27, for The Fall Off Tour. Due to popular demand, he will also be performing a second show on July 28. Known for his hits “No Role Modelz” and “MIDDLE CHILD”, the rapper will be performing tracks from his newest album The Fall-Off along with some other fan favourites.
Karol G: Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour
For all the reggaeton lovers, Karol G will be performing on July 29 and will have the city dancing all night long. The Colombian singer, well-known for her song “PROVENZA” will be performing at Rogers Stadium for her tour Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, promoting her new album Tropicoqueta. Singer Becky G who sings the popular song “Mamiii” with Karol G, will be the opening performer.
Ne-Yo and Akon: Nights Like This Tour
Returning to Canada are Ne-Yo and Akon bringing throwback R&B hits to Toronto at the RBC Amphitheatre two nights in a row on July 31 and August 1 for their Nights Like This Tour. The two performed in seven other Canadian cities in June where they sang their solo hits, cover songs and their collaborative hit track, “Play Hard”.
Tyla: Cabana Pool Bar
Toronto will be having people going ‘jump, jump, jump,’ all weekend long, not only for the annual Carnival weekend but South African pop star, Tyla is performing at Cabana Pool Bar. On August 1, the singer will be hosting the day party, which will mark her first live performance in the city. She also announced earlier on Monday that she will be kicking off her A*POP WORLD TOUR later this year where she will return to Toronto on November 26.
