Toronto Council Votes NO to Making Little Jamaica a Heritage Conservation District

There’s been a lot of concern about the future of Little Jamaica in Toronto. The iconic neighbourhood located on Eglinton Ave is at risk according to advocates due to gentrification & transit construction. Recently, Toronto city council had the option to designate Little Jamaica as a heritage conservation district, but council voted ‘no’. Brandon explains why.
