LITTLE JAMAICA, TORONTO – If you want your say on the development of Little Jamaica, the time is almost here! Located in the Eglinton West area of our city, Little Jamaica spans along Eglinton West from Keele to Marlee and is home to some of the most vibrant spots in Toronto. Now city officials are looking for your input on the Little Jamaica Cultural District Plan!
Described as a community-informed, equitable, and place-based planning process, officials will look at the individuals, places, and practices that foster local culture in order to celebrate and improve the cultural corridor.
“The plan will include a collective community vision and framework for the future Cultural District, which will be the first of its kind in Toronto,” reads a press release.
