One thing about Britney Spears fans is they will come to her defense no matter what.
In a recent interview panel, producer Timbaland was told Justin Timberlake’s song, Cry Me a River is making headlines again because of Britney’s popular memoir.
The producer’s response was recorded on video saying, “She’s going crazy, right? I wanted to call and say, ‘JT, man, you gotta put a muzzle on that girl.”
Fans immediately took to social media in anger by calling out Timbaland for his uncalled comments which led him to make a public apology.
He went on TikTok live responding to all the backlash that he received.
“I’m sorry to all the Britney fans, even to her. If she never saw the the the I’m sorry cause muzzle was no you have a voice you speak what you wanna speak who am I to tell you what not to speak and I was wrong for saying that,” Timbaland said in the video.
