A new Beyoncé Renaissance flagship pop-up store has got fans in the BeyHive buzzing in Toronto.
In anticipation of Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour making its first North American stop in Toronto this weekend, the queen has partnered with Holt Renfrew to open an exclusive pop-up shop on Bloor Street.
The shop is the first of its kind in North America and includes never-before-seen items. Holt Renfrew describes the experience as an immersive exhibition and retail concept. The flagship takes over the third floor of the store and transforms it into memorabilia of apparel and accessories.
The Renaissance World Tour collection showcases a 21-piece memorabilia display which includes the exclusive WE SHUT THIS CITY DOWN tee, along with a white ON AIR tee, CHROMA KEY long-sleeved tee, the SUMMER RENAISSANCE HOODIE with oversized “B” detailing, and a silver RENAISSANCE COWBOY hat.
An 80-page self-published RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR art book is also available. Merch prices range from $25 to $325.
In addition, an exhibition of RENAISSANCE COUTURE by Beyoncé x Balmain is also making its debut in North America. It features a selection of couture looks from the historic collection, co-designed by Beyoncé and Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing.
In conjunction with the exhibition is a four-piece, limited-edition product extension titled RENAISSANCE Beyoncé with Balmain. This includes two oversized tees, a dropped-shoulder hoodie and giant tote emblazoned with the collection’s moniker. These pieces are only available during the duration of the pop-up, and prices range from $200 to $600 CAD.
“We, at Holt Renfrew are thrilled and honoured to be the home to the RENAISSANCE FLAGSHIP in Toronto. At Holts, we stand behind empowering self-expression and igniting positive change and we truly believe that the RENAISSANCE FLAGSHIP is an incomparable Illustration of this spirit. We can’t wait to welcome all to this unforgettable experience in partnership with one of the greatest icons in entertainment,” Holt Renfrew President & CEO Sebastian Picardo said in a statement on Wednesday.
Fans can visit the store from July 5 to 11 at 50 Bloor Street West.
Beyoncé will hit the stage at Rogers Centre for two back-to-back shows on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9.
