Toronto is getting even colder than it already is despite it being the middle of May, but tomorrow people may be a little happier than usual for this cold.

Drake’s new album “Iceman” is dropping on May 15 and the world is excited in anticipation.

Toronto’s very own iconic singer has not missed the mark on creating all the hype around his new album.

From Torontonians spotting him filming his music video in the city streets and possible sightings of him at the top of the CN Tower, to the genius marketing strategies of iceblocks being set up downtown drawing hundreds of people.

There has been footage going viral online of an alleged leaked song from the “Iceman” album, and the internet has mixed reviews.

Some are dissecting the lyrics and trying to connect the references, and some are hesitant of whether it is even real or is just an A.I. song.

People are speculating in the alleged leaked video that he’s yet again throwing shade at Kendrick Lamar and Lebron James.

The Brandon Gonez Show asked Canadians how they are feeling about the album drop and what they are expecting.

“’I’m excited for something new, and I have a feeling it’s gonna be really good. Because every time it’s right before summer. It’s always the best songs,” says Canadian Aliah J. “It’s a long weekend, so I’ll definitely be celebrating.”

“I have no idea what to expect, to be honest, because I feel like most of his albums, they’re different, like every year that he drops one. I just hope the production is good. I’m sure it’ll be dope,” Jared H. told The BG Show.

Iceman will be Drake’s ninth solo album following his last solo album in 2023 “For All the Dogs”.

“I just appreciate his craft and his creativity. You know, he’s basically like a real genius,” says Canadian, Two Sauce.

Drake has been an icon in Canada and worldwide for decades, with hit songs like “Hotline Bling”, “God’s Plan”, “In My Feelings” and so many more that really brought people together worldwide in the past.

But Torontonians will especially always be hyped up in support of him, and the energy in the city today being “Iceman Eve” speaks to that.
