Grown-ish star Trevor Jackson is catching some heat after he dropped a remix to a very popular song and it’s got everyone talking.
The actor, who is also a talented musician, shared his version of the mega hit song Water by South African artist Tyla.
Internet users were quick to point out they thought the performance was cringy and that the lyrics fell flat.
“This Trevor Jackson cover is actually so funny because he thought he ate,” one internet user wrote.
“What’s so funny about this is it’s already pre recorded. He chose to make these faces,” another shared.
For those who don’t know, Jackson is used to receiving well deserved praise for his covers and remixes to songs.
Some honourable mentions include his cover of “All My Life” by Lil Durk and J Cole as well as “Under The Influence” by Chris Brown.
Jackson’s video garnered over four million views on TikTok and Instagram.
