Last week, a Tiktok video went viral after a woman showed an onion that she bought from a Canadian Walmart that was foul looking and rotten inside, and The BG Show got more information on the issue.
Amber Dee, who made the Tiktok, told The Brandon Gonez Show that the spoiled onion was from a Walmart in Winnipeg.
She also said Walmart did respond to her DM on Tiktok the next day after posting the video and refunded her money for the onions, and gave her a $10 e-voucher.
Amber also created a video sharing her disappointment when Walmart reached out to her stating, “I was expecting a little bit more than a refund on my onions.”

“What was inside that onion was not normal, I don’t know what that is. I have so many questions. I think I would’ve appreciated somebody from Walmart, from like, their quality control actually talking to me and having a discussion to let me know why that onion looked the way it did,” Amber said in the video.
In the video she also shares the voicemail she received from Walmart saying her refund will be processed in three to five business days and they expressed their apologies.
Many in the comments are voicing their disappointment in the company and the way they dealt with this situation, saying a refund and a voucher is not enough.
Walmart Canada has still not responded to The BG Show with a statement.
