One thing we learned about Drake this year is that he loves a good surprise, and on Tuesday he was full of jaw dropping surprises at his third annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event at Casa Loma in Toronto.
The invite-only event hosted by Toronto’s beloved rapper is to celebrate women empowerment in an intimate setting treating Canadian creators, entrepreneurs and business owners to some luxurious gifts.
Each guest got a welcome gift of $1,000 and for some, the astonishing moment didn’t stop there as others were also gifted luxurious cars, Birkin bags and up to $100,000.
One of the lucky women to receive $100,000 was Canadian content creator and streamer, Sarah Farrugia, who was left speechless and showed her appreciation to Drake.
In another video, Drizzy gave a heartwarming shoutout to his friend and inspiration of his event, Shannae Ingleton-Smith, who he said used to host a networking event called “What Women Want”.
One person is comparing Drake to Oprah and her iconic giveaways she used to gift her live studio audience during her talkshow days, specifically when she gave away 276 Pontiac G6 cars in 2004.
