Summer Walker turned Scotiabank Arena into a giant therapy session Tuesday night as thousands of Toronto fans screamed lyrics about heartbreak, healing and self-worth back at the R&B star.

The R&B singer performed at Scotiabank Arena – one of her stops on the “Still Finally Over It” tour, her first headlining show in Toronto since 2019.

The Brandon Gonez Show spoke to fans ahead of the concert, where crowds dressed to impress and shared their excitement about seeing the self-proclaimed “Princess of R&B” live in Toronto.

“It’s honestly like a dream come true,” Toronto Summer Walker fan Devin told The Brandon Gonez Show.

Summer Walker’s last solo tour, “The First and Last Tour”, was back in 2019 and cut short due to the singer’s personal struggles with anxiety.

After her last tour, the singer debuted her albums  “Still Over It” in 2021 and “Finally Over It” in 2025. The albums dive into Walker’s experiences with heartbreak, healing and navigating the emotional fallout of past relationships.

“I am still on the first album ‘Over It’. I just feel like she has no misses. And I’m an R&B guy. She ‘fed’ with that album. The other albums I feel like she was feeding to a wider audience a little bit, but she was still keeping to her roots,” said Devin.

Fans resonate with the artist’s authenticity and rawness through her music while finding her outlook on modern womanhood relatable.

Being a self-proclaimed “retired lover-girl” is why the anticipation to see her perform songs from her newest album “Finally Over It” is in such high demand.

“’I’m kind of going through it right now. So songs are hitting home,” Daria shared with The Brandon Gonez Show before the Toronto show.

Summer Walker will make another Canadian stop on her tour on July 3, in Vancouver at Rogers Arena.
