One TikTok user took his grievances to the internet and shared that Secret Santa should count its days, because it will never see him again.
In the video, which has garnered 27 million views in just four days, @star_hollywood shares that he went all out for his Secret Santa by going as far as putting bells and lights on the bag.

However, when it was time to exchange gifts, his Secret Santa didn’t show up and instead gave him his gift a few days later.
Although this didn’t bother him, what he wasn’t expecting was the gift itself; a bunch of chocolate.
“I will not be participating in Secret Santa anymore at any job, any work place ever again,” he said.
“Mind you, the limit was $25, I know Reese’s and Hershey’s can kinda be on the expensive [side] but I said with $25? Maybe she spent a little bit [more] on the bow and the box because the box is kinda fancy,” he said.
Soon after his post, the comments section flooded with people sharing their own Secret Santa horror stories.
“Someone in our office got a 10-pound bag of rice from their secret santa,” one user wrote.
“My boss got my name and she gave me a trinket the ones people sell on the corner for $.25 for the blind so I took her gift,” another said.
“We started using Elfster for our company secret Santa and you had to get something off of your person’s wishlist, for this very reason,” someone else chimed in.
“Last year one of my coworkers got our boss for Secret Santa and she gifted her a box of peanuts and everyone knew our boss was allergic to peanuts,” another user added.
